ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL GOLF COACHES:

The Jackson Golf Hall of Fame is pleased to announce the establishment of two college scholarships to Jackson County students. The first scholarships will be awarded to seniors in the Class of 2024, to be used in the 2024-25 academic year. Two Jackson Golf Hall of Fame Scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded to deserving high school seniors who have played high school golf. Here are the details:

• Available to both boys and girls graduating from a Jackson County high school with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Awards will be based on golf accomplishments, future plans, and short essay on how golf has impacted the student's life.
• Application will be made online at jacksongolf.net with a deadline of 5 p.m. June 7.
• Scholarship recipients wil be announced in August, with funds disbursed to college Where student is enrolled.
